On the Bay Queen project in the Isle of Man, Firma designed, manufactured and supplied the masonry support for Hartford homes, who were the client for this project.
The Bay Queen is a new development in the Isle of man which includes luxury apartments and penthouses, an on site restaurant, Gym, Private lounge and concierge service.
The photo displays our use of the FIRMA masonry support system. This system was implemented to support the brickwork that covered the steel columns.
We fixed the brackets directly to the steel columns and utilized plastic shims on the backside of the brackets to prevent heat/cold transfer from the outside.
Additionally, we implemented Firma locking washers to securely hold the masonry support systems in place. These locking washers ensure that the masonry support remains tightly fastened to support the brickwork above.
