Parklife, a 5-story office building overlooking the Grade II listed Wandsworth Park. This 40,000 sq ft vacant office building has been converted into a high-quality 80,000 sq ft urban workplace.
Designed by Dn-a Architects, developed by Landid and main-contracted by McLaughlin & Harvey, Firma collaborated together to deliver a sizeable wind post package on the development.
Our sister company BA Systems secured the project for the frameless B40 balustrade system. Firma was then instructed to offer a complete wind post system for the building façade. Our meticulous design phase encompassed a comprehensive structural analysis, including structural calculations, specifying wind post locations, and the submission of a fully detailed drawings package.
To ensure seamless construction progress, the wind posts were delivered to the site in a careful delivery sequence, aligned with each stage of construction. This “just in time” approach to deliveries ensured the product was onsite when needed but didn’t take up valuable storage space on site.
In a commitment to enhance on-site efficiency, we bundled all necessary fixings and spacers with the supplied products. This comprehensive package helped to expedite the overall installation process.
