Beulah Crescent, Croydon

Beulah Crescent in Croydon is another example of on going collaboration with the main contractor, architect and engineer to establish sound design principles for the brickwork façade. This design and build development involved the demolition of existing buildings to make way for 20 apartments split over two blocks. The project involved the design, manufacture and supply of stainless steel masonry support products with a number of different fixing situations and included several site visits by our project manager to fully understand the challenges that there were on site.

With a combination of bolted connections to steel and expansion anchor fixings to concrete, the design challenges were overcome and products fabricated in small elements to suit the sequence of works on site. Our own in house design and fabrication facilities means we can accommodate site changes as required and solve challenges to difficult façade details in a short space of time. Our 3 dimensional design package enables quick visualisation of corners and corner connections which facilitates design development and installation of the masonry support.

Detailed drawings are issued with every delivery along with carefully packaged fixings to ensure that the installers have a complete package of materials to hand from the start with minimum fuss.
